Akira is a drummer and music artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. He has been playing drums for over ten years and is a member of an up and coming band called 'PAPRIKA', which takes inspiration from Japanese Pop music of the 80s with a modern twist.

Akira has also been producing his own music since he was 15, and has contributed to a few movie soundtracks along the way, as well as releasing an extensive collection of musical pieces on Bandcamp. Some of Akira's greatest influences include Steve Gadd, J Dilla, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
