Paul Fox (Recording, Drums, Keyboard, Guitars, Bands)
After surviving secondary school by taking as many music subjects and ensembles as possible, Paul studied for his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Music and Music Technology at La Trobe University.
Following this, he launched his sound engineering career in Melbourne's thriving local music scene, producing numerous records and establishing himself as a respected music mastering engineer in Melbourne and beyond.
As a mastering, mix and recording engineer throughout the years he has worked with notable acts such as The Deftones, Jaynes Addiction, Paul Hester, Xavier Rudd, Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter, CW Stoneking, James Reyne, King Parrot, Hachiku, Rocket Science, The Fireballs, Viscous Circle, Doctor Colossus, Magic Dirt, Steve Kilby, British India, Pete Murray, Bodyjar and heaps more.
On the other side of the glass as a performer Paul got out into the live scene and recorded records with Paint Stripper, Slack Mammoth, El'Garsonorogio, Big Cat Safari, Covens Revenge, Major Chord, and Rogue Trader through the 90's and 2000's as a drummer, bassist, guitarist, composer and occasional trumpeter.
Paul later side-skilled with a Diploma in Screen and Media at RMIT, subsequently dabbling in the local film industry with narrative and documentary filmmaking, including music clips and corporate live streaming events in sound design, post-production, live and location sound, vision editing, grading and producing capacity, some projects attaining notable industry accolades.
Highlights include The Dressmaker, Netflix comedian Rhys Nicholson, Dan Lee's "Bottomless" featuring the late Uncle Jack Charles, The Back Bar 500 TV show with Jeff Kennett and Kevin Sheedy, short film "Whipper Snapper" shot to 35mm, plus producing content for Chris Hemsworth's famous lifestyle app "Centr" with Jasper Pictures.
Paul also has a long history in theatre sound and lighting design, working with the Mount Players, The Marruk Project, and others. Paul is primarily a fierce and consistent supporter of the independent arts industry that has been at the centre of his career for almost 30 years. He is a perfectionist and hard worker, and is particularly excited to open a new chapter working with the amazing Creative Ranges Foundation in his hometown of Woodend.
